What are the requirements to maintain my AAiP certification?
Your AAiP certification is valid for 1 year. To maintain your AAiP certification in good standing, each year, professionals must complete:
Previous pre-requisite AAiP courses have been completed
Complete the “6-Month AI Update” course every six months. This includes the following:
Complete three elective hours of AI learning annually
For Mastermind Group Only: Mastermind course completion
Maintain an active subscription to the Sidecar AI Learning Hub
Previous pre-requisite AAiP courses have been completed
- Have met all previous AAiP Requirements
Complete the “6-Month AI Update” course every six months. This includes the following:
Complete three elective hours of AI learning annually
- Take any 2 Sidecar Continuing Education (CE) courses (See full list of options below)
- Submit your elective hour documentation above
For Mastermind Group Only: Mastermind course completion
- Completion of the Mastermind course replaces both the requirement to complete the 6-month “What’s New in AI” update course and the requirement to complete three elective hours of AI learning for that certification year.
- Submit your course certificate of completion using the submission form below.
Maintain an active subscription to the Sidecar AI Learning Hub
- This ensures uninterrupted access to updates, new courses, and maintenance materials.

Where can I find the CE courses that qualify for the elective hours needed for maintaining my AAiP?
- Navigate to your Dashboard > Scroll to the section titled "Continuing Education(CE) Courses + AAiP Maintenance Course." That is where your CE courses and your 6 month update courses live.Choose any 2 CE courses of your choosing.
Once I complete all requirements, what are my next steps?
- Once you complete all requirements, your next step is submit your documentation for approval.
- Once we confirm all of the requirements have been met, we will email you to update you on the status of your AAiP.
How often do I need to renew or maintain my AAiP certification?
- You will need to maintain/renew your AAiP once a year
Will I receive reminders about upcoming requirements?
- You will receive an email 2 months prior and another one 3 months prior to your AAiP expiring.
- The email will come from community@sidecar.ai, and it will go the the email that was listed on your account at the time of earning your AAiP unless you request to update it.
